Rand Paul Hates Science; Puppies

Pandering to a group of evangelical Kentucky "home creationists educators", Rand Paul essentially refused to go on record as to whether he believes in science or fantasy. To be elected as a Republican in the United States (the country to land a man on the moon, invent the internet, split the atom, etc.) you can't publicly admit that the only foundation of truth lies in science. This is true for not only the originals of the universe and our species, but with global warming as well.

To his credit, he did come out against a national religion, and faith-based initiatives.
