Story and picture via The Telegraph:
Speaking about Dorothy [the dead chimp], Miss Szczupider, 30, said the chimp was a "prominent figure" within a group of about 25 chimps.
"Chimps are not silent. They are gregarious, loud, vocal creatures, usually with relatively short attention spans", she said.
"But they could not take their eyes off Dorothy, and their silence, more than anything, spoke volumes."

Chimps also eat their babies, rape females, attack and murder other chimps that have done nothing wrong except carelessly wonder a few metres out of their territory. Does that give you goosebumps?
@thenewatheist
can we be so sure a bananna wasn't under that blanket, attracting their attention? I don't think there is enough evidence here to make a judgement.
@Makarios - humans rape, attack and murder for wandering outside of certain territories all the time - that's why there are Gang fights in LA! Your hypothesis is correct, humans and chimps are related!
"murder other chimps that have done nothing wrong except carelessly wonder a few metres out of their territory"
We do something similar save replaced murder with "detain" and other chimps with "mexicans"
@Makarios Yes, because their actions are so 'human'. Clearly you didn't understand the point of that post.
"Mourn" not morn
Epic fail. Thanks.
